Adds a few vanilla-based machines for more flexible applications.
Supports “Schall Machine Scaling” and “Schall Pipe Scaling” mods.

Want some (but not too abrupt) enhancements to your familiar vanilla machines?
This mod may suit your taste! Some modifications are made to a few vanilla machines, which adds flexibility (instead of any power up) to your production and power chains in your factories.
These machines come as variations (instead of overwriting the vanilla ones). So you can choose where and when to use them, or just simply use together at the same time.
Currently includes two (sets of) machines:
- Fluid boiler : Based on boiler.
- Electric boiler : Based on boiler.
Each set can be toggled individually in mod settings.
May expand to more machines in the future, if there are such needs.
Slightly modified from vanilla boiler, to burn fluid fuel (instead of solid/item fuel).
There are no fluid fuel in vanilla game. So you may need Schall Oil Fuel or other mods that allow some vanilla fluid (including crude oil, heavy oil, light oil, petroleum gas) to be used as fluid fuel.
Slightly modified from vanilla boiler, to be powered by electricity.
Designed for recipes requiring steam (e.g., coal liquefaction), in solar- or nuclear-powered factories. So saving the hassle of carrying steam or fuel around.
This mod supports Schall Machine Scaling. When such mod is installed, overtiers will be provided for all machines of this mod.
This mod also supports Schall Pipe Scaling. When such mod is installed, fluid boxes in overtiers will be scaled for all machines of this mod.
This mod do not modify the existing content in the save game. This mod should be safe to be disabled/uninstalled at any time.
- Schall Oil Fuel is optional but highly recommended, since this mod allows using many vanilla oil to be used as fuel in fluid boilers.
- Schall Machine Scaling is optional but highly recommended, providing the machine overtiers that will decrease the number of entities greatly, thus improving UPS of your megabase significantly!
- Schall Pipe Scaling is optional but recommended, since it will improve the limited fluid flow throughput problem.
- Schall Starting Inventory is optional but useful, since it allows adjusting starting invenotry, like some fluid boiler and electric boiler as initial items.
Machine of this mod is based on vanilla machines (currently only boiler). So if the vanilla machines are removed/disabled by overhaul mods, this mod will hence not work properly. Anyway, if you choose to use a mod that does not need the vanilla boiler, you will not need this mod neither...
Otherwise, this mod should work with any other mods that are not touching the vanilla machines.
