Using an existing save is complicated:

Team Competition will ruin the Nauvis surface, and possibly delete your items if you use your advanced save. Try it to check it from a backup.
So if you playing an existing Krastorio 2 + Space Exploration save, leave Nauvis empty moving to another planet (surface),
then get your character naked, packing away your stuff. Prepare a rocket off-planet beforehand to get you off from the new starting "Nauvis" starting surface, or accept you must have build a new base on a pristine planet with my additional possibilities.

You can consider this as a challange to set up before changing packs.

I'm not sure if you can craft a market this way.


I've also set some mods optional, because you may find some of them wrong for you.
Those are guidelines, you can deactivate any mod you don't please to see.
Beforehand, check it's options, as for example the SE simplifier mod has a lot of them, so you can tailor it.


Transport drones became steam trucks, and you can research the base system in the beginning.
Combined with Factorissimo buildings, they can give you a nice, compact layout.

Expect enemies hunting you after 1 hour (if you are using my settings from youtube).

Really check all mod options, unless you want horror. If you want terror, you can set it even harder.

There is a team-based offline protection, if you use it as a server, with separate ore patches and distance all setupable after starting a play in the smiley-menu. Server player is an admin.

Explore for ruins and loot. If you find something unresearched, it's good to feed it to the reverse engineering machine.
