b [Fixed] Space Platform Surface Conditions

(updated a month ago)

Hello! Thank you for the patch, Troublesim, but I noticed that the firearm-magazine recipe with carbon has disappeared completely from both the machine interface and the Factoriopedia, which shouldn't happen, right? Especially since it is a fundamental recipe.

Furthermore, the systemic issue persists for other items: firearm-magazine, piercing-rounds-magazine, iron-gear-wheel, copper-cable, iron-plate, and copper-plate. All of these have alternative recipes intended for Muluna and the Space Platform, but they are currently being blocked on the Space Platform with an 'oxygen level too high' error. Since the previous fix was specific and inadvertently hid the firearm-magazine recipe, we need to revert this aspect to the 1.1.13 state and implement a systemic solution that corrects how surface conditions are read on the Space Platform, ensuring these essential recipes remain craftable without disappearing from the interface or Factoriopedia.

I apologize if my previous report regarding the firearm-magazine actually hindered the process instead of helping :(

Remember, the problem is not this specific recipe, is the space platform surface conditions or THESE recipes conditions

Hey this should be patched in 1.1.5, thanks for spotting that, was a stupid mistake on my side.

Hi! Great job on the latest update, the recipes and surface restrictions for iron/copper plates are working perfectly now.

I’ve found a couple of issues I’d like to report:

Factoriopedia Issue: The 'Low Gravity' firearm magazine recipe (using iron and carbon) is hidden in the Factoriopedia interface. It seems the 'Bandage' fix from version 1.1.4 might be related.

Details: When selecting the recipe in the assembler, the keyboard shortcut for Factoriopedia works, but the recipe icon itself doesn't show up in the Factoriopedia view (as seen in this clip: https://streamable.com/iv1i24 - at 0:09-0:12 and 0:16).

Lead/Autosustainability Question: The old AngelBobs lead plate in firearm magazine recipe in Nauvis works fine, but I'm concerned about "self-sustaining base in other planets topic". I see the 'Low Gravity' recipe for lead, but it seems to be restricted to base AngelBobs recipes and is not appearing for me on other planets. Is it intended to be unavailable, or could it be a potential bug? Reference image: https://ibb.co/tw2dW1kH.
In your code i see you make a clay/mud in the self-sustaining base in other planets audit, thanks for ir, in this case of lead Would the same logic apply? Or simply eliminate the need for lead?

Changelog: Just a heads-up that there appear to be two different '1.1.5' versions listed in your changelog.

Keep up the great work, and let me know if you need more info on these!

Hello! I would like to discuss the implementation of our planetary self-sufficiency concept.
I am very pleased to see you moving forward with the idea, but I have a concern regarding the new lead requirement for weapon crafting. In my view, requiring a specific material that may not be available on every planet could end up hindering the self-sufficiency mechanic we are developing. Furthermore, adding lead to every planet individually would make your workload much more complex and time-consuming. The fastest and simplest solution to keep the self-sustainability concept working effectively would be to remove lead from the recipe.
That said, I reiterate that you should feel completely free to proceed with your own vision if you prefer to keep the lead requirement despite these challenges. I respect and accept your technical decision; I just wanted to share this observation to ensure the mechanic we envisioned flows as well as possible.
Good luck with the project!

This has all been patched in latest, having some issues with factoriopedia so some of the changes may take a bit longer but gameplay will be fixed.

new lead requirement for weapon crafting

I have reverted this change.

I am slowly working my way in more detail of having the ability for any planet start, so on fulgora this is now been completed.

I am slowly working my way in more detail of having the ability for any planet start, so on fulgora this is now been completed.

I appreciate your effort. To try and help you, I did a detailed analysis of Fulgora and the changes needed to make it a self-sufficient planet, independent of space platform support or Nauvis for launching a rocket. Please check the "Fulgora self-sufficient to launch a rocket" thread.
