Heya,

So I might reduce the power of the generator, that I feel is somewhat appropriate (~300, ~1mw, ~3mw)

However, these extra settings are so you can run up the difficulty in other settings (e.g. mega deathworld, tiny start, x50 sci etc.) to help offset that.

As with the starting assemblers, honestly, they're a bit of a pain to encourage someone to use them that they need that extra oomph. You can't move them or set them up nicely, you just have to deal with how they are.
They're broken, sure, lore wise, but they are high tech (are we supposed to believe all the stuff we're building out of our pockets is very high grade future factory quality? It's all gamey suspension of disbelief at the end of the day).

Also , removing the crashsite things, is a setting in case any of that is too fancy.
