The veterancy label of turrets does not automatically disappear on spaceships. Specifically, after placing a turret in space and it gains a level, attempting to remove the turret does not remove the veterancy icon, and there is no apparent way to remove it. This issue persists across multiple sessions and does not resolve on its own.
