All The Overhauls Modpack | SE + K2 + 248k + BZ + 5Dim + More

This modpack is meant for those players who are looking for a real challenge. Lots of intermediates and resources to find and process. Big logistics problems that you will need to solve to tame the beast that is this modpack. This modpack will take a while to complete, so be ready for the long haul.

b Issue re productivity and coloured circuits

So I don't know if anyone else has realised this yet. But only up to 10% prod modules is using the laser mill the right choice. Anything more and using the advanced assembler is the better option. This is of course for cases where a very similar recipe is possible in both machines.

I'm designing my "base in a box" "Just Drop It Anywhere™" . And I'm planning on tier 5 or 6 modules for the circuits. But guess what? The versions of green, red and blue circuits in the assembling machines do not allow productivity. The versions in the laser mill not only grant a free 20% productivity but do allow productivity modules.

There's clearly a mistake here, but which is the mistake? I can't imagine everyone has missed that you can get productivity in the laser mill as this is the default option until tier 5 modules grow on trees.

Hmmm. Lasing Around allows productivity on circuits because that's what vanilla allows.

Bob's Electronics disallow productivity on circuits because it allows it on the various components, which themselves allow productivity, and it just gets to be too much.

The fork of Bob's Electronics that ATOM uses, on the other hand... doesn't allow productivity on final assembly or the components. Well.

My inclination at this point is to allow productivity on the final assembly, but add an option to do it the way the original mod does it. Under that setting, productivity modules wouldn't be allowed for it in the laser mill either. (Though I believe they'd still get the productivity from the building.)

First: The laser mill isn't meant to last until the late-game. You unlock it quite early and it would just be too strong early on if it was good enough for the late-game.

Second: That's a bug. Circuits should allow productivity for all recipes (except the copper scrap one). It was correct in 1.1, I just checked it. Morganni, could you fix that?

Well, that would have been nice for the 4th tier stuff. That takes the sting out of the HCP circuits and holmium use I was mildly whinging about recently. Especially since they are used not just in mkaing more advanced supercomputer, but in the quantum computers which don't get productivity and are also used in everything. 6 tier 7 prod modules in the HCP circuits would help A LOT in me feeling balance was restored to the force

never mind. I misread something

It's on the list.
