I can't mine rare metals with chlorine. When I place miner, an empty deposit icon appears.
To test it, in Creative mode, un-learn Chem.science.

Successfully replicated. Looks like when the rare metal mining tech is just hidden instead of deleted, KR2's resource restriction library still kicks in for it and it's a pain.

I'm seeing two possible ways to fix this... but one requires removing and replacing every mining drill that's on rare metal before it'll start working again (or getting the library to do a refresh, which it does not seem to want to do), so that's less than ideal. I should be able to get a PR in that fixes it the way that doesn't require that after work tonight.

There's no rush, at least in my case. The processing of rare metals from core processing is still ongoing.

Dont update to 2.25 because this is full of shit and breaking your gameplay completley, I got pissed of when this happend!

I've submitted a PR that should fix the issue regardless of whether or not fluid chemistry has already been researched. Plus there's a new command (/atom_fix_rare_metals) to recheck things if for some reason automation fails.

There is, however, a visual glitch - mining drills that have already been placed will continue to show the flashing red icon. They should keep mining just fine though.

If by this you mean that you've seen issues other than not being able to mine rare metals, please post about them in a new thread so they can be fixed.
