All The Overhauls Modpack | SE + K2 + 248k + BZ + 5Dim + More

This modpack is meant for those players who are looking for a real challenge. Lots of intermediates and resources to find and process. Big logistics problems that you will need to solve to tame the beast that is this modpack. This modpack will take a while to complete, so be ready for the long haul.

i There needs to be an easy way to convert CaCl into Ca

Obviously this would be sensible, and the current only use for calcium chloride is both chemically silly and useless.

But the lack of balance on my accessible world with holmium and no limestone is absurd. I'd have to void the majority of the holmium gained from core mining in order to refine the rest, and there is simply no use at all in mining the ore deposits. Also the cost in imersite of holmium is too high - the cost being largely logistic.

Yeah there should be a 2 in the title.

OK, so after playing on a bit at scale, I can safely say that the limestone dependence of holmium is just broken - even Nauvis can't satisfy the thirst, and it's impractical to need to set up a limestone planet just to get holmium at scale. I also have multiple warehouses full of useless calcium chloride for one warehouse of exported holmium. Also note that there is no way to get productivity into the chain since calcium uses the raw ore. We don't need a lossless way to recycle it, but we do need a way to recycle it.

Also, calcium should be able to be sent via delivery cannon.

Two questions:
1. Did you deplete all the limestone patches on Nauvis? 1 limestone per 1 holmium plate without any prouctivity isn't my understanding of "absurd". And I see two steps in the chain that can take prod modules. With just tier 3 you get to 0.55 limestone per holmium plate.
2. Is all the calcium chloride going into chlorine already?

Your post reads like a rant. What I need instead is a specific suggestion. Like, add a recipe for ingredient A and result B. I can't really tell if there is a general problem since I never got to producing Holmium, although I do have it unlocked. I'm currently not even playing thisd modpack anymore. I just remember that limestone wasn't used much for other stuff and I have plenty of it on Nauvis. And I build big with 50x science cost.

Chlorine is a renewable resource, generated at any scale needed by electrolysis.

Specific suggestion: calcium chloride goes to calcium and chlorine in an electrolysis machine (no water in recipe). You probably don't want to close the loop completely, so with an efficiency of less than 1

alternate suggestion: sodium hydroxide + calcium chloride -> crushed limestone + salt (optional)
