Hi. Thanks for the mod, it's interesting and inspiring in many ways, but while playing, I had a few questions about the balance of locomotives.
I noticed that:
-
The diesel locomotive has lower acceleration (600 kW) than the regular steam locomotive (900 kW), although it would be logical to expect it to be at least no worse.
-
The EMP locomotive has slightly higher acceleration (1 MW) than the regular steam locomotive, but noticeably worse than the improved steam locomotive (1.4 MW), despite being more technologically advanced.
This seems strange, especially considering that the EMP locomotive is a later and more expensive technology.
Also, to be honest, it's not clear why there are so many different types of locomotives if some of them are objectively worse than their predecessors.
Maybe you plan to review this in future updates? Or is there an internal logic to these parameters that I haven't figured out yet?
Thank you for your work and attention to feedback.
