WSEK: Warptorio + Space Exploration + Krastorio

Merges W2 with SE + K2: sometimes you will get teleported onto planets from Space Exploration universe! And many balance fixes to make it playable :) See optional dependencies for a list of recommended mods. By the way, Factorissimo buildings are cheaper here! Balance

Honestly, I'm not sure it's possible to win this game, probably Warptorio goes too much against Space Exploration with its cross-planet logistics and space bases... But you can consider this mod as a fun experiment 😁 Let me know what you can achieve here!

The mod includes many balance fixes to make it playable:

  • Adjusted Warptorio default settings: warp platform produces less pollution, and Warptorio doesn't set enemies spawn settings to high values. If you wanna have more challenging gameplay, feel free to change these values :)
  • Robust costs of Warptorio tech researches. Not finished yet for the mid/late-game.
  • Helpful start items to speedup the early game.
  • Cheaper Factorissimo buildings.

Settings

The mod provides several map/runtime settings:

  • SE universe probability – chance that the Warp Platform will get teleported in Space Exploration universe. Default value is 80%.
  • Nauvis solar system probability – chance that the Warp Platform will get teleported in the home solar system of Nauvis planet. Note that this probability is calculated after the previous one, SE chance. Default value is 80%.
  • Game start help items toggle – Your journey is hard! There is some helpful things for you like modular armor, guns, robots and their improvements researches, to boost the early game.
  • SE / K2 ores probability – chance to meet a resource from Space Exploration or Krastorio on Warptorio planets. Default value is 15%.

Technical Advices

Some mods provide buildings that are complex structures made of invisible entities, and they are not ready to be teleported (actually cloned and removed) by Warptorio as it breaks internal behaviour of those mods and leaves you with invisible obstacles you can't remove. The list of such entities includes but not limited by the following things: Krastorio Shelter, Rocket Silo, Rocket Landing Pad, generators from most of wind turbines mods, etc. BTW, I'm surprised, but seems like Factorissimo buildings get teleported correctly!

WARNING

This mod is an early version, more like an experiment. It's still playable, but the balance may be bad, and there are many things to add and to fix. However, for now, I don't plan to work on it, because of the following reasons:

  • I doubt that all of SE, K2 and W2 will be soon updated for the Factorio 2.
  • I have limited time for modding, and prefer to spend my workforce for WH40k Titans.
