The Factory Must Grow is a total overhaul mod where you play as a Superintelligent AI whose only purpose is to grow the factory.

Without a physical self, the game will be played without a player character. You will interact with the world entirely through map view.

TFMG expands on mechanics from Space Age, while also adding new ones for players to contend with.
TFMG intends to provide interesting problems to solve, over adding additional grind or fifty intermediates which only get used once and never again for the sake of complexity.

Currently includes:
Space Platform Thermal System- All crafting machines on space platforms produce heat, which you will have to manage using radiators. Failure to keep your machines cool will result in them shutting down.

Minor story/lore elements- As you play the game and research new technologies, there might be some lore. I'm working on it okay.

Possible future content: (subject to my whims)

Custom Planets- Arrival, a barren world, where resources are hidden deep in the crust.

Science Validation- Science packs will need to be validated using player-built combinator computers. Each pack will require solving increasingly complex problems.

Compatibility:
This mod replaces virtually all vanilla content. So, unless it's a small utility mod, like a rate calculator, it's probably not compatible unless explicitly stated. I would love to make mods compatible, but my priority atm is making this one work.
