Visit Pelagos, an insular planet of coconuts. Use calciners to refine resources, and unlock cargo ships as the perfect way to connect its scattered shores
After acquiring around five copper spitter nests offshore, I traveled to another planet.
A few hours later, they went feral due to insufficient feeding, but since the factory itself was running fine, I didn’t pay much attention to it.
After a few more hours, when I visited Pelagos again, I found an enormous number of spitters spawning around the now-feral nests.
You can see this behavior in my post on X.
I apologize—my previous report didn’t take into account the possibility that the buildup of eggs accumulated before the nests went feral again may have caused this behavior.
If that is the case, then it isn’t a bug. I intended to delete the post, but I couldn’t figure out how, so it remains as is.
I don't have X account, also I can't zoom in on images.
Nests behave same as vanilla ones.
It is possilbe that eggs spoiled.
I just burn excess eggs in heating tower, so I never had this issue, even with vanilla eggs. But egg spoiling sound reasonable. As far as I remember spawners have limit to how much spitters they can spawn around them, and these ones look like pretty tightly packed.
