Ok so the issue is if you install this mod with cold biters setting "enable alien loot and frost warefare" disabled, it will crash. This happened for me because I had disabled it previously on a prior playthrough of space exploration, and so after uninstalling and reinstalling the mod it kept the config as disabled.

Yeah, I know about that. Changing that setting is the one thing that works.
This will not be an issue when the rework is out.
