Very organised and symmetrical, I like it.

Be sure to consider sending more screenshots in the future!

I have many regrets with this design lol, not least of which being that I did not have enough supplies to actually build it when I pulled the trigger on the old version. It took many, many hours to build, but I was starting down on Arrival so I had nothing but time. Also the long inserters struggle to pick up items from an inside corner, which definitely didn't help... but I got there eventually! Now I'm trying to figure out Arrival... I've struggled my way through getting a few pieces of titanium and the first priority then is power generation...

I will note that the fluid system you have is brutal when first trying to figure out how to balance them. I'm still not sure I have the right idea with it, but we'll have to see how it goes!

For power generation, I implore you to reconsider what you actually already have.

And yes, the fluid recipes are hard. Now that you're on arrival, you're out of the tutorial, and the gloves are off.

I just advise you to take a step back and think about how each recipe shifts the ratios of fluids. Each recipe plays a role.

... I can just send the "free power source from space" down, can't I? Damn it XD

As far as the fluids go, I've got production from source going in to a target of 80% full (leaving room for other processes to output stuff), and I've set up some machines to "convert" fluids I have more of into fluids I have less of, if I'm ever running low on a particular one. I think that'll work and self-regulate, but I'm sure there'll be some bottleneck to fix in future.

Sounds like you've got the gist of it. It's just a matter of regulating the balance of your fluids, and makign sure you never have none, or fill up completely on any one fluid, since that will deadlock the system.
