Ahahaha, I don't know why it happened... I never saw this :D

I can see why. I only happened upon it because I was running past some and my mouse just happened to hover over it, displaying the tool-tip for fish for a frame or two. The shadows are very hard to see in creep.

The fish just vanish when you dig up the creep, probably because the tile is no longer recognized as water to the fish.

Same here managed to pick up the fish. O.o
Use a deconstruction planner you'll find them right away
And turns out you can remove creep by placing landfill on it

Edit: Creep is also a real pain to remove in late game when u are clearing tons of nests

But please do make an easier way to remove creep in late game.
- An option/command to disable creep generation.
- Or maybe just make the creep collector use your current player reach instead of some constant. With QOL mods I have like 30 blocks reach but creep collector only collects creep in about a radius of ~10
