I dont have "stone" in my "Schmitts Modpack" mapgen preset. Which preset are you using?

When starting a server, you should create a map offline and the copy that map to the server.
if you want to let the server create the map for you, then use a valid preset like "Schmitts Modpack" mapgen preset.

Due to to "Angels Refining" mod which is included in my modpack there is no simple "stone" ressource anymore. Thus it makes sense that you cannot use Vanilla mapgen presets which want to autoplace some "stone" ressources on the map.

Perfectly normal server behaviour.

So dont worry. You are not alone with this Angel mod inconvenience when starting a server from the scratch. I recommend starting a map offline using the mapgen preset "Schmitt Modpack", transfer it to the server and let the server load that map. If you really want/need to start the map initially on the server then you have to explicitly tell the server to use the mapgen preset "Schmitt Modpack" (which does not contain "stone").

I tried it on my own now. Starting offline a map in single player with mapgen preset "Schmitt Modpack" and then saving this map and transferring it via FTP to dedicated Factorio server works just fine. I can connect without any issues.

Thats what I'm doing, Im starting a single-player world, with the Schmitts mod pack mapgen preset like the screenshot shows. and I just copy the mods and save to the server and click start.

I can show you what i did in discord if you're around for a call areyouscared is my discord.

Just tried again, and throws the server into a boot loop.

Downloaded the modpack via the in-game mod manager and copied the mods folder to the server.
Created a new game in client for single player with the preset of Schmitt Modpack, Saved game
Copied save to server, clicked start... Results in the above issue plus the boot looping

Your full log that you provided says

0.059 Program arguments: "./bin/x64/factorio" "--create" "./saves/schmitts.zip" "--map-gen-settings" "data/map-gen-settings.json" "--map-settings" "data/map-settings.json"

You should NOT apply "data/map-gen-settings.json" since those settings are referring to "stone"!

And you set the parameter "--create" Check out https://wiki.factorio.com/Multiplayer
There you find "The --map-gen-settings and --map-settings options must be used with the --create option when you create a new map."
But you should NOT create a new map. Load the savegame from singleplayer. And thats it.

You need ./bin/x64/factorio --start-server ./saves/my-save.zip
instead of ./bin/x64/factorio --create ./saves/my-save.zip
Create => new map and save it with the provided name. start => use savegame and DO NOT create new map.
