Since its a hard time to figure out yourself how to combine all those wonderful mods out there to get a well balanced and well functioning mod pack, here is my personal mod pack for you. Enjoy it!

Usage Hint

Start a new game in default scenario (freeplay) and use "Schmitt Modpack" map generator preset for modpack optimized settings!
Make sure that all your mod settings are set to default! This modpack has overwritten some defaults so that the new default fit well to this modpack. Thus just take default values. And its fine!

Characteristics of this modpack

• Handcrafting is deactivated by default. So you need to automate everything. (But there is a mod setting to reenable it ;-))
• Science pack recipes require more items in the way that you are forced to enjoy all aspects of Angel and Bob mods
• Avoid enemy contact in early game and use trees to compensate pollution to not make them nervous

Mod Recommendations

Best to be played with https://mods.factorio.com/mod/friendly_pvp even though it is only an optional dependency. Thus you can or cannot use it. But I recommend using it. Even in singleplayer. And for multiplayer it is great since it enables own spawn positions, with own bases, with own enemies, with own evolution factor.

I also use https://mods.factorio.com/mod/friendly_pvp even in single player because it generates nice spawn locations with the most important resources being very close (but not a lot of them).
