g Crushing Industries - Processing Units need stone

Crushing Industries changes the recipe of advanced circuits from using copper cable to optical fiber, which requires glass. Glass can only be made from sand, which is crushed stone. There is no source of stone, so unless it's imported (the current work-around), it's impossible to natively make blue circuits on the planet which seems to not be the intent.

It would interesting to see if there's many a way to dredge the pelagos deep sea tile for sand? Or maybe allow miners to mine pelagos sand tiles for sand?

Sand and stone can't be automated in order to prevent easy access to landfill, and I don't want to change it.

Completely valid.

Given that calcite is a crystalize structure, would you be opposed to offering a calcite -> glass (or a advanced circuit utilizing calcite) recipe in calciner, and require the unique 1809 surface pressure to ensure that this recipe cannot be utilized elsewhere?

honestly, that is not a bad idea.
That could even be special calciner recipe, i am not even sure it need to be surface locked.
I will see first If I could add one or 2 more recipes that uses glass to pelagos itself, if I would not find something i will see how crushing industry interact with it and check what i can do to make circuits automatable.
but calcite => glass sound good so far
