i [added]Add Pelagos biolubricant to reduce the amount of recipes?

Currently the mod adds a coconut oil version of every vanilla recipe that uses lubricant. Couldn’t this be done in a much easier and cleaner way by simply adding one recipe to convert coconut oil into lubricant? You could call it Pelagos biolubricant, since Pelagos bioplastic already exist. It would not only reduce bloat, but also make it easier for Pelagos to be used with mods that add more uses for lubricant.

I know that there is a similar situation with ethanol and sulfuric acid, but it’s not quite the same. For one thing, turning ethanol into sulfuric acid kind of makes no sense compared to turning a kind of oil into lubricant. Also there are fewer recipes that rely on sulfuric acid, and the battery one is unique in more ways than just the acid replacement. So I think it’s fine for the ethanol recipes to stay as they are.

I tried that while making a recipe chain for the first time, and it felt a bit off.
Not very off, just enough to make you think about it a few times.

I agree that this would be better for compatibility reasons.
The way it worked last time I tried it was by having a recipe that converts coconut oil into lubricant, the same way you do with heavy oil.

I’ll think about it once more, probably will implement it if someone else came to similar conclusion as I did when testing it before.
