Large total conversion mods.
Transportation of the player, be it vehicles or teleporters.
Augmented or new ways of transporting materials - belts, inserters, pipes!
Trains are great, but what if they could do even more?
New ways to deal with enemies, be it attack or defense.
Armors or armor equipment.
New Ores and resources as well as machines.
Things related to oil and other fluids.
Related to roboports and logistic robots.
Furnaces, assembling machines, production chains.
Changes to power production and distribution.
More than just chests.
This might be an issue with factorio itself rather than the mod.
We cannot open any save that has Krastorio 2 in it and was last played on 1.0 of Factorio.

Did you update Krastorio2 to 1.0.9? It works fine for me on Linux.
I did a fresh update before loading the save file, yes. So my save file works on your machine?
I'll test it on linux too then, maybe the windows build of fac is broken.
On linux I get the same error messages. I'll update the forum post with new verbose logs.
