I had a Wind Turbine on a separate power grid powering a ground water pump to my power plant. I thought all was well. That was until my power plant suddenly stopped producing power. I went to find out why this was, and it turned out I had plenty of fuel, but no steam. My boilers weren't producing steam because they had no water. My pump had no power.
The power grid for the pump had the pump and a wind turbine, with a power production capacity of 0W/0W, and power satisfaction of 0W/20W. This after 20 hours of normal usage working fine. It started working again normally when connected to the power grid, but any time now I disconnect it from the main power grid, it stops working.
This coincided with me placing down a large batch of solar panels.
