Welcome. You are looking at the most advanced and feature rich modpack for Factorio. 8+ years of development has created a level of polish few other mods can match. Progress through a sprawling maze of 10k+ recipes and develop technologies that should have stayed in science fiction. In Pyanodons, a megabase is not optional.

Features

  • Completely rebuilds and overhauls every aspect of Factorio.
  • Realistic ore processing to obtain refined metals and alloys.
  • Complex oil and circuit processing chains.
  • Slaughter millions of aliens to feed your ever-hungry factory.
  • Support for some Space Age features such as elevated rails, spoilage, and more. (support for space-related features will come in a later mod)
  • Polished and balanced experience resulting from over 8 years of development.
  • 100% multiplayer compatibility.
  • Hard and long, but contrary to popular belief not intended to be tedious or grindy.

See the dependencies page for a list of all mods included in this pack.

Optional dependencies

This modpack contains a small list of optional dependencies on high-quality mods intended to enhance the experience.

  • [Milestones] to add a sense of progression and accomplishments into Pyanodons.
  • [Not Enough Parameters] to allow parametric blueprints to function correctly in Pyanodons.
  • [Enable All Feature Flags] to enable DLC features in Pyanodons such as spoilage, stacking belts, and elevated rails. Requires the Space Age DLC.
With this mod installed, spoilage will be a toggleable mod setting.
  • [Elevated Rail] to take trains to another level. Requires the Space Age DLC.

Some form of train mod such as [Cybersyn] is also recommended. Vanilla train interrupts can also work, but Cybersyn is more flexible.

One or more ratio calculators:
- [Factory Planner]
- [Helmod]
- [YAFC-ce]
- [Foreman 2]

Pyanodon is designed to be played your way. Feel free to tinker and experiment with mods outside this list. There is included custom support for over 100 mods.
Add a spoonful of sugar to help pY go down. Some suggestions:
- [Inserter Cranes for Pyanodons mods]
- [AAI loaders] in expensive mode, but with no fluid cost, or [Loaders Modernized]
- [Nanobots]
