so the issues I've found here is twofold. first off, I've found that when looking at, for example, train wagons, the new effects of quality (such as increased cargo capacity) are not reflected in the tooltips. this is also the same when you've finally crafted a quality wagon, and even when you set a ghost down of that wagon. however, once the wagon is placed, the wagon gets replaced with an identical entity with the proper cargo capacity, and with a new "affected by X mods in Y order" list. this leads to the second issue, though.
if I've already placed down a green train wagon, and go to copy that train wagon elsewhere, the bots don't place the train wagon. that's because the bots identify the ghost as the pseudowagon that this mod creates with quality modifiers, and treats it as completely different from the vanilla green wagons I have. thus, if I want to create a new train using green parts, I have to manually select the train wagon and set it to green in the ghost picker and manually paint the train. this also means I can't really make blueprints using quality parts, or copy existing quality factories and paste them elsewhere.
in comparison, I tested another quality mod, quality wagons, and found that it also suffers from the first issue (of the effects not being showcased in the tooltips of the entity until it's placed), however, once placed, I can copy those entities down wherever and it properly selects the vanilla versions of the entities instead of the pseudo-entities, meaning bots can place them, and I can copy/blueprint existing quality setups with no problems.
if the first issue is unresolvable (which it seems it likely is), the second issue looks to be resolvable, and you might wanna check with the maker of quality wagons to see what they did to make copying the pseudo-entities work properly. while not being able to see what quality is doing to certain structures (and thus not being able to tell at a glance what this mod affects and what it doesn't in-game) is annoying, it's not a major issue. however, I feel like being unable to copy quality entities is a major issue, as I press q on existing entities/copy-paste a lot. it's much easier to find an existing entity and copy that over to where I need it than to navigate the menus to find the entity I want and manually set the correct quality (though I do naturally need to manually set some of it).
edit: aaaaand I've once again forgotten to select the "bug" category. oops.
