Stable Foundations

by Dummiez

Buildings and other structures now have improved damage resistance, productivity, speed and efficiency when built over stone and concrete tiles. Can also be used to reinforce vehicles, robots and players as well as adjusting the additional foundation stats to your liking. Highly configurable/mod compatible.

Stable Foundations

Ever wanted placeable tiles to provide more than just walkspeed? Aren't buildings supposed to be stronger and better with a more stable foundation? This mod reinforces structures and units when built over constructed tiles! Productivity, speed and efficiency is also improved for most assembly-type buildings.

Default Tile Bonuses:

  • Stone Brick: 20% damage reduction, +2% productivity, +4% speed, +5% efficiency (Tier 1)
  • Concrete: 30% damage reduction, +3% productivity, +7% speed, +10% efficiency (Tier 2)
  • Refined Concrete: 40% damage reduction, +5% productivity, +10% speed, +15% efficiency (Tier 3)

These apply to most destructible player-built structures on the mentioned tiles (damage reduction applies after initial resistances). You are free to adjust damage reduction and productivity bonuses in the mod settings for more balanced or casual gameplay.

Features:

  • Increase assembly-type building productivity, efficiency and speed with foundations
  • Configurable percent and flat damage reduction for stone, concrete and refined concrete tiles (tierable)
  • Whitelist tiles to the tier of your choice, as well as what buildings are affected by productivity bonuses
  • Filter certain types of buildings which can be eligible for damage reduction
  • Adjusting friendly fire effectiveness with structures on tiles
  • Reinforce things other than just buildings
  • Highly configurable settings for more technical players

Mod Support/Suggestions:

Some modded tiles may not be initially supported, feel free to request additions to default compatibility under discussions (supports Asphalt Roads, KR2, IR3, Dectorio). You can also add them manually in the mod config.

If you have any other requests or comments about this mod feel free to leave it on the discussion tab.
