Schall Alien Tech


Vanilla-friendly extension of weaponry. Not overhaul. Adds alternate weaponry choices from mid-game, which is based on the alien science pack from “Schall Alien Loot” mod. Balanced with vanilla weaponry, and extends end-game with MK3 weaponry (including powered armor and tanks). Also adds two featured weapons from “Doom”: Plasma rifle, BFG 9000. have you ever thought of the weapons of Outpost 2, or Warzone 2100? both are fairly full featured tech trees with various options for weapons and tech upgrades.

Have not looked into either.
The vanilla damage types are already mostly covered by existing weapons (except for Acid, which is the exclusive damage type of spitters). Also I already have Schall Recharging Weapon offering a range of guns. So I have to be careful of not making yet-another-weapon that will not useful in my already-large arsenal.
BTW, I have largely expanded the tech tree in 2.0.2. So be sure to check it out!
