in settings > interface > on right side, you can enable show item changed by what mod, maybe that will give you some more idea...

Really? I checked the factory encyclopedia of the freight car and it shows that it has been modified by this module, but the capacity is still 40... I just tried to only enable this module, but the capacity still hasn't changed. The module settings are the same as yesterday and haven't been modified. It seems that there are no previous versions of releases on Github:(. Could you provide compressed files of previous versions? I'll try it again.

you are playing the game mode SAP or VP right, not using MI train settings right?
Train setting just set the speed, power, braking force.
It also get change even if you did not change the train settings, since there is a "battery burner item" which add the burner burnt output slot.
This also show the modification history by the mod.
And then the previous version is on this portal, use downloads section.

It is indeed a problem with the MI settings. I initially enabled MI but did not enable SAP. After turning off MI and enabling SAP just now, the train capacity became 80. Thank you for your reply! (Yesterday I set it up like this and it works properly:-P)
