I'm working on Yuoki Industries: Quinityn, a new planet add-on for Factorio 2.1 + Space Age that brings something big to Yuoki Industries and Yuoki Industries Engines:
A dedicated science and technology research tree.
Yuoki has long offered a huge collection of machines, materials and production chains without a formal research progression of its own. Quinityn gives that industry a journey—from your first salvaged components to advanced factories, with research and crafting milestones along the way.
Land on Quinityn. Recover what remains. Research what comes next.
Inspired by a world from YuokiTani's original stories, Quinityn is a forgotten industrial frontier of buried machinery, ruined factory districts, ash, slag and purple seas of Liquid Unicomp A2. The industry has fallen silent. The biters haven't.
And this is where your Yuoki progression begins. You'll need to physically land on the planet to unlock its industrial potential.
What’s coming:
- A formal Yuoki research progression. Work through materials, power generation, Cimota reconstruction, Mechanical Force, refining, farming, defense, trade and advanced industry.
- Dedicated planetary science. Build toward producing Quinityn research data in Yuoki factories, then use it to push your technology forward.
- A climb from salvage to industry. Recover machinery and process local resources to establish water, power and your first production lines.
- Purple unicomp oceans. Tap the shoreline for resources and eventually expand your factory across the seas with Durotal foundations.
- An optional empty-handed challenge. Arrive with nothing and build your way to a locally produced rocket.
- Research that keeps the planet useful. Bring Quinityn into your wider factory network with ongoing mining productivity and Yuoki plasma damage upgrades.
