Schall Alien Tech


Vanilla-friendly extension of weaponry. Not overhaul. Adds alternate weaponry choices from mid-game, which is based on the alien science pack from “Schall Alien Loot” mod. Balanced with vanilla weaponry, and extends end-game with MK3 weaponry (including powered armor and tanks). Also adds two featured weapons from “Doom”: Plasma rifle, BFG 9000. It appears to me that the intention is for the maximum stack insert stack size to be 6, combining both Alien and Agriculture science techs. However, after researching all of these technologies, the maximum stack size a stack inserter can place is 4.

Yes, the max stack size defined on core limitation is set to 4.

But... This was exactly why I added a bunch of mod settings in Schall Belt Configuration 2.0.2 two weeks ago.
I have already planned for greatly expanding my civilian tech tree at the time. ;-)

changing this setting in belt configuration does not seem to really fix this issue.

edit:
nvm, seems like stack inserters have a limit on themselves, it does change the belt stacking size for direct output machines, like miners do stack up to 6.
seems like stack inserters are limited to 4 layers...
