I had a lot of fun on the planet but I feel like the balancing is weird. I only played on 1.1.x so some of my feedback are already addressed (like how broken solar panels and acumulator were), however I think there are a few of my concern still present
-
for a planet so close to the sun, I feel like solar should be the natural power source. However, steam is so aboundant there is very little insentive to build a solar array compared to using steam turbine. Moreover, steam is only really useful for coal liquefaction which is only really necessary for plastic and sulfuric acid for rocket part. Beside power generation, there is no reason why steam should be that plentiful.

Moshine unlock new trains, but there is very little reason to use train on Moshine itself. Starting patch and data node is enough, mostly because Moshine doesn't have any regular export only unlocked items) and research scale by time, not by amount. And the ore patches are so close to each other, tapping an other is just an extra belt a tad too long. Addressing that isn't trivial, because it would require to rethink the world generation and the balancing of data gathering/usage to incentivise tapping extra nodes

The research progression is a bit unfocused. Espacially, researching Machine Learning is the only research actually requiring a lot of data card (1000 at 10s) when the other research favors long research time with few items. The player is baited into scaling its data collection, but isn't rewarded for it as the whole collection will sit idle afterward. And when player want to research quantum chip productivity, mining productivity most likely ramped up the node data prodution.

Solved equations are kinda just there. They are only used for quantum chip productivity (way later after Moshine) and long handed stack inserters. I feel like they should be used somewhere in the AI core chain.
-
Speaking of the AI core chain, it feel kinda pointless on its own. You now have very shiny core for you computer, just for them to sit idle until you research Quantum Chips. I kown your next planet has use for them, but I think Moshine should have a reward on its own. K2SO has introduced new modules only compatible for lab, but those are just plain broken and probably not a good ideaa to take as it, but at least it feels like getting t10 AI core is meaningful, not just an empty achievement.
Again, looking at the patchnotes for 1.2.0, it feels like at least some of my feedback is addressed, but I am still playing on factorio 2.0 so can't properly test out.
