Main review: Moshine is a fan-flipping-tastic planet and I love the hell out of it. Theming is strong, it feels really polished and is just such a fun experience, however it seems to really kind of operate in a vacuum, and I kind of expected a bit more reward for clearing it than just long stack inserters and QP productivity, don't get me wrong, both are good, but for a planet with AI development in it, I feel like something research-related would have been amazing. I suppose the solar panels and accumulators are nice, but if you have nuclear they're kind of unneeded, solar in general has been kind of invalidated by this expansion on most planets.
Mostly nitpicks and suggestions: I feel like the core of Moshine is amazing, but it's still a bit rough around some parts. The AI training, because of the way precentages work, straight up has a pretty large chance to just void your AI core, which is REALLY flipping annoying, especially when you're trying to make legendary AI cores. The AI model making process itself was an interesting and fun little challenge, and I feel immensely proud for figuring out an expandable, modular design for it, but, as some other people have said, it feels kind of... wrong, that the main power consumption on this planet comes from processing and manufacturing and not AI developing, mostly because in reality, AIs are some of the most electricity-hungry bastards that we've ever invented, so it feels rather weird that they aren't the main power consumers themselves, upping the power cost would be a good idea for making AI, perhaps even dramatically so, as power is basically free on Moshine with no strings attached. And now, in order to ruin the feedback I'm about to give, I'm going to enter nitpick mode. UhMhMh Ackshually, you'd want a really strong magnetic field, not a really weak one, in order to make AI, because solar flares straight up have a chance to just, delete, all data they come into contact with or blow up all your electrical transformers, not something you want when running power and processing power intensive processes like developing AI. I think it would be quite thematic to make it so AI can only be created at night, though that doesn't really fix the issue of being realistic (which the planet doesn't have to be), it would certainly help the believability factor somewhat, or a different idea, given that this planet has neodymium and magnets are literally something you manufacture, it could be a cool idea that one needs to make "electromagnetic umbrellas" around their base to keep the sun's harmful radiation at bay, with most machines that have complex parts like assemblers or EM plants or various others requiring coverage from these umbrellas in order to function at all. Now obviously this complicates the early game of the planet a large amount, so, much like Fulgora has naturally-occuring Lightning attractors, there could be some decrepit, abandoned umbrellas around the place courtesy of the (I assume Fulgoran) people that previously visited Moshine. Also, the compute farm is an absolutely legendary concept and I was completely over the moon when I figured out what I had to do to get solved equations, literally the most creative mechanic I've seen thus far on a modded planet.
All in all, a really cool mod, just a bit too easy for my liking, and a bit rough around the edges, but then again, what project isn't?
