g Inserters missing previous inserter as ingredient

Hi fellow engineer,
I'started a play through a few days ago with this awesome mod (thanks!!!) together with SpaceAge (obviously) and AAI industries. It came to my attention that inserters no longer need each other when crafting. Thats kinda weird imo. I can just craft a Bulk inserter without needing any of the previous inserters as an ingredients. This seems like a bug to me is why I decided to post a message here. As I have an addiction to the mod that adds 40 quality levels this is something that is a necessity in my playthough actually :D.
Like for example that assembling machine 2 needs 1 and 3 needs 2

I'm pretty sure it's intended, because the higher tier items require more complex ingredients.
