g Quality changes for ammo

Just a quickie really and by no means a request or order since the mod author is probably a busy bee but as a general though perhapes quality could be changed to effect the range of ammo (mainly for the pistols, rifles and shotguns) since with quality increases to gun turrets it can increase the turrets range beyound the range the projectiles can reach, same again for pistols, rifles and shotguns which can have a larger fire range then the projectiles can reach.

If by chance ammo quality is changed to boost range per level i think reducing the quality effects on damage would be a good way to balance it out (considering krastorio 2 ammo is really good to begin with in terms of damage density at base level.)

Base Factorio already applies quality range bonus to projectiles from weapons of their origin

It does? Well I should of done some proper testing instead of taking it at base value from the ammo tool tip but fair enough, I apologize for the inconvience and I thank you for answering.

As an additional note, I finally figured out why i though range values weren't being adjusted for projectiles with quality, another mod was conflicting with it (hero turrets) which resulted in turrets having a longer range then they could actually hit, which was resulting in ammo being drained rapidly trying to hit targets out of projectile range so yeah, don't use hero turrets with this mod since the above will happen.
