Cerys

Fulgora's moon of puzzles. Ancient wrecks embedded in thick ice can seemingly be repaired, including a colossal nuclear reactor that could transform the possibilities on the surface... if you can get it working. Cerys is a complete and polished mod that does not modify the vanilla game in any way, so is easy to include in existing saves.

g Why are you data extending every tech during final fixes?

I just spent a hour debugging a crash with one of my mods, and I eventually tracked it down to your mod extending it's technologies in final fixes, while other technologies had dependencies on them at an earlier stage.

See the discussion in https://mods.factorio.com/mod/Cerys-Moon-of-Fulgora/discussion/676a382a9092b02711e000e2, especially from the 15th post onwards. A version of Cerys has just been pushed (0.9.4) to ensure all technology changes in Cerys are applied in data-final-fixes, addressing the issue you mention.

If you know of another reason this behavior would cause widespread compatibility issues (comparable to the issues this temporary change is addressing), please tell me it.

My suggestion would be to create the stuff during data as normal, then validate and trim the non ceryx stuff in final fixes...
But I guess it doesn't matter much now, as putting an optional dependency on your mod fixed my issue.
