At what point in a playthrough should I visit Cerys?
You can visit any time after you become spacefaring, however players report the mod is most enjoyable played before Aquilo.
Do I need to complete Fulgora first?
No. As with Vulcanus and Gleba, tech from Fulgora helps only marginally on Cerys.
I'd like to play Cerys but I don't have an existing Space Age save.
You can use the Cerys Start mod to spawn on Cerys with power armor and enough technologies to simulate having left Nauvis.
Is Cerys a puzzle game?
Not entirely — although it has puzzle elements on first playthrough, these were added late in design. Mostly, it is a planet mod.

Why does Cerys disable Flare Stack incinerators?
When Cerys was first released, it included a port of Flare Stack to 2.0. This port included flare stacks and vent stacks, but not incinerators, as incinerators are partially redundant in Space Age due to the existence of the recycler.
We then assisted snouz to port the original Flare Stack mod to 2.0. It was decided not to remove incinerators in that port.
If you'd like to use incinerators from Flare Stack with Cerys installed, you can re-enable them in the Cerys startup settings.
I find the lighting on Cerys distracting, can I disable it?
Yes, you can revert to vanilla day/night lighting using the 'Dynamic lighting' checkbox in the Cerys settings.
Is Cerys compatible with the Plutonium Energy mod?
The dev of PE tried to write a patch to merge the mods, but stated that the systems in Cerys are generally preferable and that a patch would make things worse. As a result, Cerys now contains a compatibility patch that removes PE recipes from the tech tree where they would duplicate a Cerys system.
Why are there burning animations on an airless moon?
We agree it is odd you can’t build burner miners, yet you can burn fluids in a flare stack! Simply put, many Factorio animations still need adjusting for an airless environment, and we hope another mod will tackle this in future.
I used another mod that messed with Cerys, can I reset it?
You are able to delete the Cerys surface and generate it again. The mod will smoothly reset your progress when this happens.
To delete the surface you can use the map editor or the console command /c game.delete_surface('cerys')

Why don’t high-quality radiative towers have a larger visualization range when held in my cursor?
