I figured out Urea yesterday for melamine by growing the flowers. First tried the duplication recipe that takes 1 urea + ammonia + cyanic acid to get 4 urea. That recipe is a net sink of urea. You need 2 full cycles on the cyanic acid + ammonia @ 8 urea per cycle to get enough gas to run the duplication once to get 4 urea. So you spend 17 urea to net 4.

Maybe a second recipe to get cyanic acid or increase the net or decrease the input?

those recipes are meant to turn cyanic into ammonia or vice versa, not like kovarex.
