Total Combat Overhaul deprecated

Resource and enemy bases spawn rework. Biter attack mechanic changed to work on timers, to make more interesting combat with steady difficulty. A lot of combat, pollution, modules, technologies and recipe changes. Early equipment technologies.

g Pollution needed?

Do I need pollution or (before start of game) can I disable it? (not a fan of pollution, especially the destruction of trees and the green looking water)

And yes, I'm asking because I don't want to wake up that I turn off pollution and then the enemies never attack (since I assume now it's via a timer) or never evolve

You can disable pollution, but you'll need to use time factor or destroy factor if you want enemy evolution.
