Getting to fluid handling when starting on Arig is a very manual and cumbersome process or constantly placing and removing sifters because you can't handle sand until way down the tech tree.

Also, to unlock pumpjack you need to mine heavy oil, but you need a pumpjack to mine heavy oil....

Just ran into another one, got a platform in space (that was brutal because of the larger asteroids) but I can't send down the space science because it says I need to unlock Arig Cargo Drops, which looks like planetslib-arig-cargo-drops, which is a hidden tech that is predicated by compression science, which I have researched and made a couple hundred of. Am I missing something or is this another issue with Start on Any Planet?

Do I need to do a fresh start? I updated the mod and reloaded but I still get the cargo drop error on my platform.

I did a fresh start and see the new recipes to vent fine sand and pumpjack. Will keep playing and see about the space stuff

Dropping unlocked, I can proceed to white science now... will let you know how the rest of the run works out.

I think this topic fits for my observation with tech tree also: having lignumis blocks cargo drop as it requires steam/wood science which can be made only on lignumis :/
There is an option in lignumis mod to not restrict lignumis science to lignumis, but maybe there is better way to handle that.
