The loop of heavy oil -> lubricant -> coal/heavy oil -> lubricant is net positive (about +7% per loop) and allows infinitely producing petroleum products.
I'm sorry if the intention of my post is not clear. I'm not necessarily saying it's bad, if it's intentional. I just hope it's known by the developer. If it is intentional, then to me it makes sense to include some sort of alien-related tech into this loop to make it look like a it's based on some unknown technology, rather than an oversight. Or maybe the author designed it to be this way intentionally, that's cool too.
