Planned content
Titans
There are 5 main class categories of the Legio Titanicus war engines, some of them have multiple patterns or models. Here is a list of what will be presented in the mod:
- I. War Hound is a Scout Titan, the smallest class of Imperial Titan is used as a scout carrying out reconnaissance of the enemy lines or as the flanking element of a Titan Legion in conjunction with others of its kind.
- I. Dire Wolf is a Heavy Scout Titan, a sturdier yet slower version of War Hound, having smaller arms but carrying a strong top cannon similar to Reaver.
- II. Reaver is flexible and multi-role, not as heavily armed as the Warlord-class Titans, or as fast and agile as the Scout Titans, but the Reaver is a potent war machine in its own right.
- III. War Bringer battle titan, carrying 2 heavy arm cannons and 1 top gun.
- III. War Lord titan, carrying 2 heavy arm cannons and 2 shoulder guns, forms the mainstay of Battle Titan Legions.
- IV. War Master is a Heavy Battle Titan and one most powerful machines in the Imperium of Man.
- V. Imperator is a Superheavy Battle Titan class, also know as Emperor Titan class or the God Engine, is the largest and most powerful military technology of humanity, with a church on top of it.
- V. War Monger is another Superheavy Battle Titan class, more suitable for long-range attacks.
In addition, Titans:
- Carry different heavy weapons of customisable setup.
- Provide dashboard, perfect for multiplayer control.
- Can crush smaller enemies or buildings with their foots.
- Have void shield that absorb most of incoming damage.
Cannons
20+ weapons (14 already done) of 6 grades from a basic lasgun to the mighty Hellstorm Cannon. In the game, you will see detailed descriptions about weapon's damage and ammo.
Below is a brief list of weapons grouped by grade; you can find colored icons description in the final section of the page.
Grade 0 Minimalis:

Possible future content
I have lots of ideas for this and other mods! Here some of them, most related and possible to implement:
- For SE and Space Age: cross-planet logistics, Titanic drop pods. Yeah, they actually do this!
- Weapons ammo output: empty ammo detail and/or scrap/slag – to make the production chains a bit harder yet more efficient.
- Standalone void shields and plasma generators as building.
- Standalone titan weapons. Do you remember the Dawn of War?
- Titan machine spirit awakening process.
- Omnissiah-blessed lubricant and Emperor-blessed runes ingredients for titan Machine Spirit awakening process.
- Titan machine spirit can go wild during stress conditions. This should be prevented with sanctified, holy ingredients.
- Psyker technologies and production pipeline of different types: for the sake of Emperor, Khorn, Tzinch, Slaanesh, Nurgle, Chaos united.
- Chaos daemons corrupted titans; Psyker titans of Ordo Sinister; Ork Gargants; maybe Tau, Eldar titans. With very special parameters and dedicated weapons!
- Better AI, which will allow strong enemies 😈
Inspiration and global goals
From one point of view, I really love WarHammer 40.000 from my childhood! Actually, lots of characters and races without preferring someones more. Besides the lore, I adore WH40k Dawn of War game series of Real-Time-Strategy genre, especially with Ultimate Apocalypse mod which showed me astonishingly epic Titans many years ago.
From another point of view, I'm a software engineer with wide experience, including GameDev, and I consider Factorio more like a game engine. I believe it has much higher potential than it's used for now. Being also passionate about Game Design, I have a detailed vision and wanna develop several large mods that will add mechanics and possibilities of other game genres I love: RTS / RTT and Rogue-like / RPG. Basically, I mean:
- Fun and powerful combat capabilities (like this mod).
- Srategically smart and interesting enemies, battles.
- Lots of explorational content and enthralling locations, quests.
This will make Factorio a cool game even without factories!.. But I strive to change no vanilla recipes and maintain compatibility with overhaul mods.
Commands
The mod has several in-game console commands, mostly they are cheaty, for testing purposes, but you may be interested:
titans-spawn-more-corpses
– this one can be really helpful if you play with mods that add other planets or surfaces, like Space Exploration, Warptorio, Team Competition, etc. For now, such mods have no integration with WH40k Titans, so you won't find any wrecks on other planets to extract them. But this command can solve the issue!titans-fulfill
andtitans-clear
– allows to add full ammo or remove it, while you're driving a Titan or Supplier aircraft.
