Keyboard

Key names match the Windows legends on this keyboard's dual keycaps. This applies to this keyboard only, not to Mac keyboards in general.

Tools

Tools opens Upgrade, Remove, Reverse and Clean. Choose Run or Network; hover to preview the connected scope. Shift-drag cancels. Individual shortcuts can be enabled in Mod settings.

Keys Action
Ctrl + Shift + D Remove connected belts, rails or pipes
Ctrl + Shift + B Reverse connected belts
Ctrl + Shift + U Upgrade belts; right-click downgrades
Ctrl + Shift + K Clean belts; use the held item or choose a contaminant
Ctrl + Alt + B Highlight belts
Shift + Q Recall held item
Ctrl + Q Craft hovered item
Ctrl + Alt + wheel Cycle related items
Ctrl + R Refill hovered fuel/ammo inventory

Revert last reversal restores unchanged belts. Cancel work stops pending work; items Clean already spilled stay on the ground for bots.

Autofill has personal reserve, amount, fuel and quality settings. By default it protects higher-quality stock and excludes explosive/atomic ammunition and nuclear fuel. Held-item refill is an explicit choice.

Cursor Enhancements and Belt Visualizer handle cursor/highlighting when installed; bundled fallbacks remain available without them.

Requests

  • Get 1 stack adds a one-shot personal request; delivered extras are kept until used. Chest Request 1 stack sets a repeat-safe target.
  • Recycling: set the feeding inserter's item filter, such as quality module < Rare, then settings-paste it onto the requester chest. It requests one stack of each matching unlocked quality. Module tiers remain separate items. Undo requests and Clear generated requests preserve later manual edits.
  • Arrange requests moves or copies slots across sections, including platform hubs. Amounts show section multipliers; Undo reverses the last move. Edits to shared groups affect every use.
  • Platform hub Sections… combines section-wide Import from and Active at. Import edits current filters; activation is local to this ship. Planet icons apply only while stopped there; In flight is separate. Manual stops enforcement. Settings paste and blueprints preserve the rules.
  • Alt + Q requests the hovered item/result; add Shift for ×5. Ctrl + Alt + Q requests ingredients for one craft; add Shift for five crafts.

Upgrades

Auto-upgrade keeps improving compatible modules as stock arrives, preserving each slot's type. Native module requests and blueprints supply the layout; empty machines offer a type choice. Use stock replaces exact module requests with the best compatible stock of the same type. Later manual requests keep priority in their slots.

Ranking uses actual effect across tiers and qualities, not tier alone. Efficiency stops spending chips once the machine's energy reduction is capped. Hover the checkbox for the ranking order, or the requested-count label for exact pending chips. Turning Off cancels owned pending work where safe; executing work may finish.

Works on compatible machines, drills, labs, beacons and silos, including space platforms using hub stock. Copy/paste, blueprints and native building replacements preserve the switch; blueprint editing can set it for future stamps.

Best in stock upgrades selected buildings or ghosts to the highest stocked quality of the same building and tier. Placed buildings never downgrade; ghosts may use lower quality to build now. Keep improving opts into later upgrades and can be saved in blueprints. Shift-drag cancels Harry's work and stops watching; unrelated upgrade orders stay.

Navigation and schedules

  • ↑ / ↓ enters remote view and uses native surface cycling. Open dialogs keep their normal keys.
  • Ctrl + 1–5 opens Nauvis, Vulcanus, Fulgora, Gleba or Aquilo, restoring the last camera and zoom. Alt + 1–5 is an optional alternative. These chords override matching quickbar shortcuts.
  • Ships, or Ctrl + Shift + P, sends a ship without changing view. Send and stop adds a temporary trip; Resume route uses a scheduled stop. The original route stays.
  • Wait conditions opens Copy/Paste and multi-stop selection beside a schedule. The clipboard survives switching ships/trains. Undo restores the last paste; shared train groups remain shared.

Overview and search

The logistics overview shows Stored stock, including requester ingredients, or Available pickup supply. Pin a network to keep it while moving. Click counters or items for native network details. + selects several pins; the lab icon pins science. Hover Charging and Waiting for exact counts.

Ctrl + Shift + F finds consumers of the hovered item. Production-statistics item clicks also open consumers (can be disabled). Results offer native private pins. Factory Search opens the maintained general search with that item selected.

Status dots, resource tags, zoom animation, farther detailed view, ghost coverage and underground range markers have independent settings. The saved map-overlay toggle is respected.
