Don't know if it is possible but it would be very nice to have a button that cycles between 1-4 visible toolbars.
I generally like playing with 4 but often when fighting biters or doing some big scale base planning i like to switch to 1 or 2.

I am not sure if I understand what you are talking about, but if I do, this is already in the base game. If you press "X" you will cycle through your quickbars. Have a look in you controls setting or on the wiki page.

I think the OP doesn't mean cycling between toolbars, but cycling between the NUMBER of visible toolbars.
That would be very very nice to have indeed!

yeah, I think you are right. But I can't think of any way to do this. I actually doubt this is possible at all.
