Cerys

Fulgora's moon of puzzles. Ancient wrecks embedded in thick ice can seemingly be repaired, including a colossal nuclear reactor that could transform the possibilities on the surface... if you can get it working. Cerys is a complete and polished mod that does not modify the vanilla game in any way, so is easy to include in existing saves.

g Possible Crushing Industries conflict

Currently investigating a mod conflict I'm having. Crushing Industries in december added a new intermediate, Optical Fiber, which is used in blue and red chips. However, with my set of mods (stellar horizons), the recycling recipe Saf added does not appear, it appears to use the original recipe for blue/red chip recycling returning copper wires instead of optical fiber.

I'm not 100% sure how to interpret the UI, but hovering over the recipes for red/blue chip recycling shows me Quality > Igrys > Cerys, which I'm assuming shows the override over for recipes or something, quality because thats the mod that introduces recycling, and then I'm assuming Igrys and Cerys also introduce overrides for these recipes. Would this be correct?

if so, is there an easy fix on my end? Can I set load order or something to use the Crushing Industry recipes?

I imagine you have the 'Prevent certain recycling recipe overrides' mod setting turned on.

This setting is on by default because it was found to produce much better compatibility on average – but it's far from a recommendation. It's more like a guess.

Since the Cerys codebase is not changing very much, other mods may want to insert data-final-fixes patches to nullify the effect of this setting.

I see. Thanks. In the meantime, turning off this setting seems to let CI set the recipe now. We'll see how this impacts the rest of my game. Thanks for the help.
