Cerys

Fulgora's moon of puzzles. Ancient wrecks embedded in thick ice can seemingly be repaired, including a colossal nuclear reactor that could transform the possibilities on the surface... if you can get it working. Cerys is a complete and polished mod that does not modify the vanilla game in any way, so is easy to include in existing saves.

g Paving waterside

It seems this mod removes the ability to pave on water-adjacent tiles on other planets. It doesn't seem to be a mod-incompatibility issue, as it even happens when all other mods are disabled (apart from the required dependencies, of course).

(also sorry, i missed the post type dropdown - should have filed it under "bug". my bad...)

Could you expand on the issue?

I tested placing concrete on sand next to water with Cerys installed and had no problem.

Ah. you are right. It seems it affects only stone bricks.

I didn't consider testing various paving types.

Can confirm, stone bricks can't be placed next to water, either by hand or by bots, while (refined) concrete can, confirmed this to be a Cerys (or one of your dependencies, honestly too exhausted to look at this point) related issue

Yup, undocumented behavior of Factorio collision masks strikes again. Fixed in 4.16.1.
