Cerys

Fulgora's moon of puzzles. Ancient wrecks embedded in thick ice can seemingly be repaired, including a colossal nuclear reactor that could transform the possibilities on the surface... if you can get it working. Cerys is a complete and polished mod that does not modify the vanilla game in any way, so is easy to include in existing saves.

g [SPOILER] General questions about Cerys

Im not asking about changin stuff but.

What about these particles will be attracted more easier than it nows? What if the speed of particle will have higher chance for transform? Can u add a information of range of attraction? Better quality - more radius? Would it be nice, if there be a guaranteed craft method (or something with main reactor) to make plutonium? Should rods attract particles, that shoots from the reactor when it works?

...Gameplay Stuff.

The best way to convey this information is likely through adding a Tips&Tricks entry. We don't plan to add a full slate of them, but an entry for this seems appropriate. To answer your questions, the behavior is as simple as possible — the speed of the particles makes no difference.

It was previously true that quality affected the properties of charging rods, which caused some bad gameplay experiences for players who were unaware. This was likely as the effect was too strong and we might add a very mild effect in future (though again we'd need to add support for explaining this without spoilers). The range of the charging rods drops continuously as the third power of distance, though small effects on particles greater than 25 tiles away are ignored for performance reasons.

The particles from the reactor are unaffected by charging rods because as gamma radiation they don't carry a charge.

Greatly thanks for the answer <3

Do you think about make a map-option for increased space on Cerys? Or something that can expand the current corners?

Or there's a trick for making most of the components on the Fulgora instead of Cerys? Or just transfer most of stuff to the Cerys?

Cerys is tightly designed around the specifics of the map so supporting differing sizes is far too much work. We do however support ribbonworld.

There are lots of options post-cargo drops and we plan to add Cerys–Fulgora connecting rockets one day.

Understood.

Last one: Should there be a tower without solid fuel but with basic power consumption for heating space around?

That’s a good question.

As it stands Cerys walks the line between bulldozing the gameplay of other frozen planets and being an interesting interaction with them. With that change, it might be the former.

However it is true that other planet mods could add surface conditions to the Cerys tower, so it may be acceptable.
