Cerys

Fulgora's moon of puzzles. Ancient wrecks embedded in thick ice can seemingly be repaired, including a colossal nuclear reactor that could transform the possibilities on the surface... if you can get it working. Cerys is a polished and complete planet mod that does not modify the vanilla game, so is easy to include in existing saves.

g Questions about plutonium [SPOILER]

Don't read bellow if you don't want to be spoiled.

Hi, I really love this mod, but I have some questions about plutonium generation.

We recently discovered the fantastic mechanic involving plutonium, the wind, and the little purple particles.

We have a setup where we place Charging Rods in a circle, with a combinator that changes the polarity of some of them to generate a "manual door." You switch the polarity when the purple particle enters the circle, which allows us to capture around 5-7 purple bubbles that then pass through chests inside the circle but sometimes some particles quit the circle...

I have a question: Does the number of uranium-238 in a chest affect the amount of plutonium generated by the solar wind hitting that chest? We've already solved most of the puzzles on the moon, which was really fun, but now we're trying to automate plutonium generation. We're wondering what the best approach is for using the Charging Rods.

When you developed this mod, what did you have in mind as the best way to use Charging Rods? Is the circular setup the most efficient approach?

Thanks! :)

Plutonium is generated on a per-uranium basis. If you have more uranium in the chest you'll increase the rate.

It was intended that there are many different designs for plutonium farm. I have seen about seven distinct variants from players, all of which are effective and some of which I did not expect.

Very interesting, thanks for responding so quickly.

I'm really curious about these plutonium farms.
It's been very difficult to find any picture of them (on Reddit, YouTube, here, etc.). I haven't been able to find any so far.
