Cerys

Fulgora's moon of puzzles. Ancient wrecks embedded in thick ice can seemingly be repaired, including a colossal nuclear reactor that could transform the possibilities on the surface... if you can get it working. Cerys is a complete and polished mod that does not modify the vanilla game in any way, so is easy to include in existing saves.

g Issue heating the reactor

I think i need to get this frozen reactor running?

I can't heat it. I can't make heat. I can't mine it. I can't put mining drills on it. I can't make flame throwers to melt it. I can't put inserters to pull out the concrete blocks. I can't manually pull out the concrete blocks. I can't put repair scaffolds on it. The cerys heating towers don't get close enough.

I've got over a hundred plutonium, plus a bunch of mixed-oxcide fuel. The entire moon is now littered with arcs of shot down asteroid debris. I also have a bunch of half-hearted attempts to guide the solar wind to make more plutonium.

I've got hundreds of cerys science packs, and nothing left to research but infinite holmium, without utility science.

I've run out of things to do, and run out of ideas. Where do I find a hint? I'm marooned.

It sounds like you're doing everything right, except you can't heat the reactor which is blocking your access to lithium brine. I haven't heard of a player having this issue until now — the reactor on Cerys should be in range of one of the heating towers.

If that isn't the case for you, I'd appreciate if you're able to DM me a Google Drive link on Discord with your save so I can investigate what went wrong. If you'd simply like to fix your save, you can delete the reactor in the map editor and place a reactor in the appropriate stage within range of the heating tower.
