g Unsubscribed - Too Complicated

Other mods are so much easier than this crap.

There is a circuit signal for ID and a "go to" signal. If one platform has ID signal with value 1 connected and another one has goto signal with value 1, then a connection is made. This is so it can be automated.

The only difficult part is to make the rings not constantly activate and have them only activate with player interaction or something, so when you go to another planet it doesn't constantly waste energy by teleporting nothing. I've been trying for hours and it's proving to be a challenge for someone who has barely touched circuits 1400hrs in, lol

For now I'm just manually disabling the constant combinators when I teleport.

Updated as requested in 0.2.0

GUI can now be opened from the control panel for manual dialing.

Hell Yeah. That'll make it a lot easier than my current circuit kludge.
On a related note, would it be possible to get Stargates and DHDs?

Check out this mod, which basically covers it, just needs few changes to run in 2.0.

actually it also starts continuously for me without any reason. A signal (green) should also be added that activates the rings

I played a bit with the mod, and the automation works, but maybe I didn't understand something well, but I found some problems: the only way to transfer materials is through the crates, so, if the rings destroy what is in their path, how do I fill the crates? Even if I use the logistic crates the cable (of course) is eliminated during transport. So you should add a signal like "loading on the platform", or allow reading the contents with a cable on the platform's combiner. I repeat, maybe I didn't understand well, so a clarification would be useful. Thanks

Oh, that's easy! Use long-handed inserters, right at the edge of the ring, so it isn't destroyed. Alternatively, build a logistics chest and circuit system within a roboport's range. It teleports, the robots pull/deliver.

Underground belts and trains should also work. The teleporter has middle area of something like 5x4 tiles (read ingame description). Outside this area is 1 tile border that gets damaged. There is also the concept, that rails are specially built, so they don't get damaged.

As for automation, latches should help. Also I think belt reading has a checkbox to "flash" a circuit signal for a moment. So for example when chests are filled, overflow is put on a belt, which triggers a signal only once when items first appear.

Thank you for your reply, however, that still leaves the problem that it is automatically activated as soon as it is charged with power. I mean to automate there is no way to be able to control when the robots have finished emptying the chest, because the cable gets sheared.

If you use logistic chests, you could make a separate roboport for every teleporter and read the logistic storage from roboport.

If you use trains, you can read train contents from the train stop.
