Thank you for pointing out the bug. Regarding hot-silicon-melt, I was only creating a preliminary structural framework to guide content creation; it's just a recipe or item and hasn't been tested yet. However, I will still fix the issue you mentioned as soon as possible.

It's very strange that I noticed the item you mentioned. It's an isolated item, with only one recipe involving it. Shouldn't that cause an error during game loading? At least in my multiple tests, I haven't encountered any errors because of this item. It's possible you haven't installed and enabled Space Age, or you've added other mods that are detecting it. Of course, if it's the former, I will separate the Space Age part after the mod is largely complete, so it can be played either as part of the base game or as part of Space Age. However, in the current development process, it's difficult for me to monitor the progress of both simultaneously.

I got same error.
Only space age, quality and elevated rails mods enabled. No any other mods than toxic wasteland.
Also tries to disable space age. Its no effect.

P.S.:
I when space age enabled I got another error:
2.980 Error ModManager.cpp:1767: Error in assignID: item with name 'silicon-wafer' does not exist.

toxic-wasteland (0.2.1)
game version: 2.0.76

Oh, I looked at the code and found the reason. Actually, your error is different from his. When I saw his error, I reviewed the recipe and immediately changed the variant of the cooling-silicon-melt recipe attribute to the more reasonable rough-silicon. However, I forgot to change the variant of the hot-silicon-melt item attribute to rough-silicon. This happened just before I was about to submit the mode, so I forgot to retest, which caused your loading failure. It's a bug that just appeared today. Most of the time in today's update was spent on the armor mesh module issue that wasn't handled properly before. One of the API changes in version 2.0: "Replaced As equipment result" was changed to "replace as equipment result". This issue wasted a lot of my time troubleshooting why equipment attributes weren't working.

Thanks you! Now game starts ok and even new game can be started (=

Even so, this doesn't mean the silicon production line is feasible, as my testing process is still ongoing. I cannot guarantee the stability after oil processing. The various graded mineral powders from coal chemistry and stone ore are not yet fully implemented, and the next step is to completely reconstruct oil processing to achieve a bug-free experience similar to the content before the blue bottle. Previously, I also established several new but not yet perfect mechanisms, including a power-consuming conveyor belt system, a new smelting system, a new AC/DC power grid system, medium-voltage and high-voltage electromagnetic wave fluids to simulate engine limitations, and the life support system for the armored mesh that I just fixed today to cope with multi-planetary contaminants. Furthermore, based on the overall complexity of the game, I'm reconstructing the insect's evolutionary system to balance the game's difficulty as much as possible. Of course, these experimental explorations will inevitably expose more problems later, but I will try my best to fix them.
