A mod that adds a new research to the game alongside with new items and recipes.

Tested primarily in vanilla (some stuff is altered in "Space age" dlc)
May not be balanced.

  • Player crafting speed
    • 3 tiers of upgrades, each triggered upon mining specific ores
  • Player mining speed
    • 3 tiers of upgrades, each triggered upon crafting specific items
  • Combat related bonuses (Advanced military tactics)
    • 3 tiers of researchable upgrades to boost damage, speed and character health alongside with running speed.
  • Research pack productivity
    • Adds productivity bonus to science pack production.

    • Unlocks a lot of recipes, that allow you to wash ores and maybe gain some more in return.

    • Plant trees and reduce pollution in your factory!
    • At the cost of time ofc.
  • Inserter capacity bonus
    • Now you don't need... well loaders are still good (not included).
  • Total production
    • disabled by default
    • 3 new tiers of existing modules

  • Robot role reassignment
    • Change from logistic to construction bot or vice versa!

Alien tech

Readds the alien artifact to the game, but unlike in older versions of factorio, this content is not mandatory => side content you can ignore without fear of losing powerful buildings.
Adds only tech related upgrades. Those upgrades also take long time but in compensation for this, the number of science packs is reduced and it scales linear.

    • A GUN with penetrative power and high damage.

    • Creates a small explosion upon hitting a target (damages nearby entities => good against groups of enemies).

    • A solar panel that works during the day and night.
    • Produces more energy in the long run.

  • Sniper rifle
    • Dispatch the biters at range you are more comfortable with.
  • Sniper ammo
    • Ammo for the sniper rifle.

    • Gives you health and regeneration.
