Stellar Foundry is a planetary industry overhaul built around expedition logistics, off-world extraction, and cross-planet manufacturing.

Starting from the homeworld, you will unlock new survey and expedition technologies, establish interplanetary transport routes, and bring home rare materials that cannot be produced locally. Progression is built around expanding into specialized worlds, building the infrastructure to support them, and combining their outputs into higher-tier manufacturing.

Each destination supports a different role in progression:

Ferrus
An extraction world focused on ferrite-rich industrial expansion. Ferrus provides the raw materials needed for stronger structural components, upgraded hardware, and broader off-world infrastructure.

Caldera
A hostile processing world built around brine handling, filtration, and advanced material refinement. Caldera pushes you into harsher logistics, more specialized production, and tighter cross-planet planning.

Cross-planet progression
Stellar Foundry is built around combining outputs from multiple worlds. Ferrus hardware and Caldera materials come together in new manufacturing chains, leading toward major infrastructure milestones such as the Thermal Regulator and the first Orbital Relay systems.

Current release scope

Version 1.2.0 expands the public foundation of Stellar Foundry with a more complete transport and progression loop, including interplanetary freight, crew movement, survey flow, and continued development of the Ferrus and Caldera progression paths.
